As a mom, my heart aches for my baby girl. Alaia is only 7 and has been fighting multiple sicknesses at the same time. She has been in the ICU now for 7 days, a total of 14 days hospitalized. Transferred from Baystate Children's Hospital to Boston Children's Hospital. Alaia is with sickle cell crisis, acute chest, kidney infection, slight heart failure, slightly damaged liver, and her left lung is slightly collapsing. Because of it, she is experiencing high blood pressure, and due to that, she is also experiencing seizures. The seizures are taking her vision and all the comfort that a 7-year-old would love to have.
