Hi, my name is Amanda Marsh. I am a registered nurse of 18 years and mother of two living in the US in Central Virginia. I am a Palestinian activist and met Alaa recently as he was seeking someone to assist him and his family after they lost everything in Gaza. Alaa and his family are seeking financial assistance for food, water, and the basic necessities of life. All donations collected will transfer from my bank account in America to Alaa's bank account via PayPal. Alaa and his family would appreciate any support to help them survive this.
This is Alaa's plea for help:
Hello, my name is Alaa Hussein Qadeeh. I am 34 years old. I lost everything: work, school, sources of income, and security. I decided to leave Gaza to live in a safe country and live a decent life if we could leave and if we couldn't. They needed that, the money would be used to survive and rebuild their lives inside Gaza.
The story of Alaa and Nour:
Before things changed radically, Alaa and Nour were living in a beautiful small town called Abasan al-Kabira in Khan Yunis. Alaa worked as an engineer, and Nour had recently graduated with a degree in social work. Alaa describes her as creative and with a great passion for work.
Unfortunately, Alaa lost his job and their house was completely destroyed beyond repair, forcing the couple to move south to Rafah in the Gaza Strip, where they are currently displaced. Now, we all know that there is no safe place in Rafah, and there is a sense of urgency about the preparations to leave for Mawasi Khan Yunis in a plastic tent.
There is no amount to small and every donation is greatly appreciated. Please help Alaa and Nour in any way you can, even if it is just prayer that you are able to offer. Thank you kindly for taking the time to read their story. Please don't forget to share this link.
