Hi, my name is Marilyn. I’m raising money to help a mother while her child is in the hospital. Let me tell you her story.

Akeyla Perry is a hard-working woman. A few years ago, she was involved in an accident that resulted in her losing a leg. She didn’t let that stop her. She works at Dollar General but is having trouble standing for long periods of time because of her prosthetic. She didn’t let that stop her. She worked and saved as hard as she could to be able to buy a home for her and her son.

Yesterday, July 17th, she closed on her home. She decided to take her son to his dad’s house while she took care of other things. Her son, Wilson, turned 3 today, July 18th. Well, at his dad’s house, he had an accident in his pants, and his dad beat him. He then put him in scalding hot water!! We don’t know why he did such a horrible thing. Wilson is now in the hospital fighting for his life with 3rd-degree burns. He’s in the hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, which is a couple of hours from his mom.

This money will help her to maintain her bills and home so she can be by her son’s side. Please, anything will help and is greatly appreciated. I will keep everyone posted on his progress and recovery. Thank you in advance.
