We have emptied our life savings into legal defense trying to fight the Florida Department of Revenue. They claim taxes are owed upon livestock and poultry food in the state of Florida, which they are not by Statute 212.08 (7) d. What would seemingly be a cut and dry case has developed from an audit unjustly operated into a chapter 5 bankruptcy. We have never had problems with creditors. We are an integral part of the community for over 50 years. We have always supported agriculture and helped those with animals free of charge with the years of experience we have dealing with them ourselves as what we do for a living is our passion in our own life. We never reach out for help. Fighting the government has been one of the worst fruitless battles we have ever commenced. They are an organized gang. They write the laws, but do not adhere to them. We suspect criminal governmental breach of trust, meaning there is a vendetta amongst the heads in state agencies to come against class 3 permit holders in any way possible as to place pressure on businesses to have them shut down. We have been a spur in their side drawing attention to land grabs, rights taken from humanity as access to plants and animals God gave us, and the destruction of Florida waterways continues. Please find it in your heart to help us fight truly for your rights in Florida to purchase feed for livestock and farming tax free. This is law. The Florida Department of Revenue is demanding what is not law. We are in contact with lawmakers drawing attention to the right avenues. We started this GoFundMe at viewers request. Any monies attained will go to fight the good fight and any monies left will be donated to a farm defense fund advocating for the rights of small farmers. This is not a get rich quick scheme. They are threatening to come after us personally if we do not pay. I assure you we own nothing of value except our home. We do not seek to do anything but alleviate ourselves from this debt and continue honest business. Thank you for your time.
