Support Chance's Fight Against Blastomycosis
Donation protected
Hey guys, my name is Amanda and this is my daughter's dog, Chance. Chance was diagnosed with Blastomycosis. He has been sick for about three months. It took several trips to the vet and three to the animal hospital for him to get diagnosed correctly. So far, they are up to about $4,000 in treatment bills and are to the point of borrowing money for his treatments. This is a very rare fungal infection. It can invade anywhere in the body. Right now, they think it's in his bones. His success rate is looking good because it's not in his lungs or organs. However, he needs regular tests and they continually change his treatments. He may need another 4-6 months of intensive treatments. His next specialist appointment is 5/19. They said to expect the bill to be at least $600-800. Most of the vets he's been to haven't ever treated this because it's that rare. Anything to help them keep the treatments going is much appreciated. They also have kids and bills, so it's a hardship, but Chance is like a child to them and we all love him so much! Any funds left over after he is finished with treatments will de donated to Tysons Chance.
