Stand with Juan After the Blaze
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
It is with a heavy heart that I share the unthinkable news that one of our own has been affected by the fires. Juan Amaya (ASMI at Fiscal Administration Bureau) lost his home and everything he owned. He was working late the night of January 7, 2025, when he was informed of the immediate evacuations. With little time to get home and pack, he picked up his wife and dog and nothing else. The following morning, with his wonderful sense of humor and positive attitude, he called work to say he would be a little late because he had to go home and pick up some “business-appropriate” clothes. Juan drove to his home and found nothing more than ashes. His home, the memories built there, and everything his family owned was gone. He was in disbelief and total shock.
While he is thankful that he and his family are safe, they are left with nothing more than the clothes on their back. We are starting this GoFundMe to help him, and his family begin the hard and lengthy process of having to start over from zero. All funds raised will go directly to Juan and his family, to assist them with purchasing essentials and other needs that may not be covered by other sources of aid.
Your donation, big or small, will provide him and his family with much-needed support during this extremely difficult time. Your kindness and generosity will mean the world to them.
We ask that you consider donating to someone that has a tremendous heart and is always willing to help. It is our turn to return the favor and provide assistance now that he needs us more than ever.
Please share with your friends, family, and the community and let’s show the world that with love, generosity, and compassion we can all help.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
His LASD - Contracts Family
