On Saturday, Tommy Robinson organised the biggest far right demonstration in British history. 100,000 joined his festival of hate, cheered on by billionaires like Elon Musk and backed by some of the most dangerous far right forces globally.

This was a wake-up call. The far right are growing in confidence, spreading racist lies about refugees, Muslims and migrants, and trying to exploit fear about violence against women to divide communities.

Stand Up To Racism has always been at the heart of organising against fascism and racism — but to step up now, we urgently need resources. Unlike Tommy Robinson, we don’t have the world’s richest man or millionaire backers funding us. We rely on the support of ordinary people.

That’s why we are launching this Emergency Unity Fund. Every donation will go towards:

• Organising unity rallies and demonstrations to show there is a majority against racism.

• Producing and distributing campaign materials to challenge the far right’s lies.

• Building links with trade unions, faith groups, women’s organisations and black community groups to strengthen resistance.

• Supporting local groups on the frontline of fighting racism and fascism.
