To all my Washoe County students, families, community members and partners your support and donations for one of our students' at Mendive Middle School is in great need, with much appreciation and gratitude.

Ms. Scarlett Dowell is an 8th grade student at Mendive Middle School in the Washoe County School District here in Sparks, NV. Scarlett is loved by all her peers, teachers and staff. She is a part of our CLS community at Mendive Middle School, as well as the Downs Syndrome community. She enjoys coming to school each

day and loves being with her friends.

Our Scarlett has been diagnosed with a severe form of Skin Cancer, and needs to go to Las Vegas for her specialty care. Scarlett's' care will be a long journey. We are asking for all of those who are able and willing to please donate what you can to help support Scarlett with her travel expenses and medical bills during this physical and emotional process.

Lets do our part and come together as the WCSD community we are, along with the Reno/Sparks Community to help support. Scarlett lives with her mother and three older brothers. She is the joy and light in her family and in her community.
