Sergeant Snuggles isn’t just a dog—he’s a protector, a best friend, and a beloved member of a family with children who love him deeply. Right now, he is sitting alone in a county shelter, frightened and confused, labeled “vicious and dangerous”… and facing euthanasia.

But that label does not tell the truth.

Snuggles is 1.5 year old Anatolian Shepherd ( LSD ) that has never shown aggression in his life. The incident that led to this situation was not a random attack—it was a provoked bite during a moment where he was already in a heightened, protective state. At the time, he was actively guarding his home and his pack from wild coyotes, when an individual approached and provoked him, leading to the bite.

Most importantly, the person involved testified in court that the incident was her own fault.

Despite this, the court ruled for euthanasia.

Why? Because critical evidence was never heard.

* Over 100 character witness statements were never presented

* A professional evaluation of Snuggles was not properly considered

* The family had ineffective legal representation during the hearing

Now, Sergeant Snuggles’ family is doing everything they can to make this right.
