Stand up for freedom: "Anything to say?" in tour

In questi tempi turbolenti, quando i tamburi di guerra risuonano e le ombre dell'oppressione si allungano, la fusione di arte, attivismo e musica diventa un faro di speranza, un appello all'azione e un promemoria del potere di stare insieme per il bene comune.

Stiamo intraprendendo un progetto ambizioso per portare in tour, attraverso l'Italia, "Anything to Say?", l'opera di Davide Dormino.

"Anything to say?" è un monumento in bronzo itinerante dedicato alla libertà di espressione. Poggia a terra e si muove, al contrario dei classici monumenti da piedistallo che si vedono nelle piazze.



Tre icone della nostra contemporaneità - Julian Assange, Chelsea Manning a Edward Snowden, che attraverso la piattaforma di WikiLeaks hanno rivelato crimini di guerra e abusi dei diritti umani facendo tremare i governi di tutto il mondo - sono in piedi su tre sedie. Il gruppo scultoreo ha un pezzo mancante, la quarta sedia che si completa quando una persona ci sale sopra e prende posizione.

Il tour non è solo una mostra. Ci sono tappe previste a:

Milano 18 maggio. Parco Sempione.

Napoli 25 maggio. Piazza Dante.

Roma 1 giugno. Piazza Orazio Giustiniani.

Bologna 8 giugno. Piazza Nettuno.

È un evento nazionale che mescola arte, attivismo e musica in un dialogo potente sulla libertà di espressione e il nostro diritto alla conoscenza.

In these turbulent times, when the drums of war sound and the shadows of oppression lengthen, the fusion of art, activism, and music becomes a beacon of hope, a call to action, and a reminder of the power of standing together for the common good.

We are embarking on an ambitious project to tour Italy with "Anything to Say?", a work by Davide Dormino.

"Anything to Say?" is a traveling bronze monument dedicated to freedom of expression. Unlike the traditional pedestal monuments seen in squares, it rests on the ground and moves.

Three icons of our time - Julian Assange, Chelsea Manning, and Edward Snowden, who through the WikiLeaks platform revealed war crimes and human rights abuses that shook governments worldwide - stand on three chairs. The sculpture group has a missing piece, the fourth chair, which is completed when a person steps up and takes a stance.

The tour is not just an exhibition. Stops are planned in:

Milano 18 may. Parco Sempione.

Napoli 25 may. Piazza Dante.

Roma 1 june. Piazza Orazio Giustiniani.

Bologna 8 june. Piazza Nettuno.
