Stand Together with Susan

Our beloved mother Susan was a very active and dedicated cardiac nurse for almost 30 years at NYU Winthrop hospital. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. In November of 2018, that all suddenly changed when she was diagnosed with T-Cell acute lymphoblastic lymphoma, a very rare and aggressive form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

      After months of long hospitalization, chemo therapy treatments, and countless visits to doctors, she received a bone marrow transplant donated by her sister Kathy. We are now patiently waiting and praying that the new stem cells and amazing medical care at Memorial Sloan Kettering will help our mom live a long happy life with her husband, children, and grandchildren (a new grandson making his arrival in May). Our mom’s amazing spirit, positive attitude, and faith through this process has been inspiring to us all! Even with the continued support from family and friends this road hasn’t been easy and medical bills are quickly mounting.
