Stand Strong with Simon Against Eye Cancer

Roughly a week ago, our lives took an unexpected turn. A strange reflection caught our attention in our sweet baby boy, Simon's, eye. This prompted a whirlwind of doctor's visits and tests that led us to a diagnosis that has altered our reality.

On April 15th, our brave little Simon was diagnosed with a rare form of eye cancer called retinoblastoma. It had advanced to stage E, robbing him of vision in one eye. The recommended course of action is the removal of his eye. However, amidst this nightmare, we find a ray of hope; his other eye still has sight.

The diagnosis was a shock to us all along with the reality that our sweet Simon will lose one of his beautiful brown eyes. Despite this, we hold on to optimism. We are so thankful to have a dedicated and compassionate care team fighting alongside us, for Simon to lead a healthy and fulfilling life. The road ahead won't be easy, but we stand strong with Simon.
