Stand In the Gap for Theo: Health and Hope

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to be more available to my friends and a blessing to others. If this also applies to you, please consider helping my dear friend Theo Joyce Harnage and her sweet family as they struggle through an extraordinarily tough season.

Recently, Theo has had a devastating series of health issues, beginning with a diagnosis of MS and progressing into a myriad of other mysterious conditions that her Mayo doctors have yet to successfully identify after many months of appointments, hospitalizations, and medication protocols. This has spawned multiple bills and unexpected expenses, as you can imagine – on top of the stress and frustration of unanswered questions and failed treatment paths.

Meanwhile, as she gets weaker and more discouraged, their family stretches to keep up with school tuitions, major car repairs, and elder care.

I first met Theo in the 4th grade in Jacksonville, Florida, and we have remained close friends. We have shared Girl Scouts, cheerleading, club dancing, wedding showers, baby baptisms, and many other milestone celebrations. Theo is the kind of friend who shows up for others in good times and bad. Along with her husband, Michael, and four children, she is a devoted Christian, and their family has remained active in church.

As I know she would do for me if I needed an extra hand, I’m asking you to please donate to help the Harnages navigate this setback and regain some hope. Please also lift Theo up in prayer for clear answers and healing.
