Fighting for freedom and democracy has never been more important than right now. We all have taken for granted that our government would function in some capacity to protect its citizens and not attack them until now.

Seeing what I am seeing now has destroyed my version of what the United States should have been, but I still have not lost sight of what the United States Should be.
