Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,
Our beloved Wyatt recently underwent emergency brain surgery after doctors discovered a tumor. During the operation, a major artery supplying the part of his brain that controls the right side of his body was found to be embedded in the tumor. As a result, he suffered a serious stroke and is currently unable to move the right side of his body or speak.
Wyatt is now beginning what will be a long and uncertain road to recovery. He remains in the hospital as doctors await pathology results to determine what kind of tumor he has and what treatment options may be possible moving forward.
To make things even more difficult, Wyatt does not have health insurance. The cost of the hospital stay, surgery, imaging, rehab, and future treatments is more than our family can handle alone.
We’re starting this fundraiser to help cover:
• Hospital bills and ongoing medical care
• Physical, occupational, and speech therapy
• Possible future treatments depending on the tumor diagnosis
• Transportation and caregiving expenses for his recovery
Wyatt has always lived life with energy, playing sports, exploring the outdoors, and lifting up the people around him. He’s the kind of guy who checks in on you even when he’s going through something himself. That’s just who he is. Now he’s facing one of the toughest challenges of his life, and we’re rallying around him with all the strength and love we can give.
Anything you can give—no matter how small—will help lift some of the weight off our family’s shoulders. If you can’t donate, sharing this with your community is just as powerful.
With gratitude,
Autumn and Family
