Stand by Wendy in Her Cancer Fight

Wendy is an incredible woman, great friend and loving mother. Wendy is someone who radiates positivity, always offering a helping hand, a kind word, or a warm smile to anyone in need. She is a hard-working mother who manages to balance a demanding career and her role as a single mom. Despite the immense personal struggles she endures, she continues to give her best to both her professional life and her child.

 

On October 25th, 2024, our beloved Wendy was diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) cancer, and while this news has left us all heartbroken, we know that she is a fighter. She is currently going through chemotherapy and has had her port implanted through which she gets her medication and is scheduled to undergo surgery early April 2025.

 

Despite the overwhelming challenges that cancer has brought into Wendy’s life, her spirit remains unshaken. Through every doctor’s visit, every chemotherapy treatment, Wendy continues to embody strength, resilience, and an unwavering positivity that inspires everyone around her. With grace and resilience, she navigates this difficult journey, teaching everyone the power of maintaining hope and staying kind, no matter the circumstances.

 

The road ahead will not be easy. But with our collective help, we can ease some of the financial burdens that come with treatments, hospital visits, and the day-to-day challenges of this fight. Wendy es una mujer increíble, una gran amiga y una madre amorosa. Wendy es alguien que irradia positividad, siempre ofreciendo una mano de ayuda, una palabra amable o una sonrisa cálida a quien la necesite. Es una madre trabajadora que logra equilibrar una carrera exigente y ser una madre soltera. A pesar de las inmensas luchas personales que soporta, sigue dando lo mejor de sí tanto a su vida profesional como a su hijo.

 

El 25 de octubre de 2024, nuestra querida Wendy fue diagnosticada con cáncer de carcinoma lobulillar invasivo (CLI) y, aunque esta noticia nos ha dejado a todos con el corazón roto, sabemos que ella es una luchadora. Actualmente está recibiendo quimioterapia y le han implantado un puerto a través del cual recibe su medicación y está programada para someterse a una cirugía a principios de abril de 2025.

 

A pesar de los abrumadores desafíos que el cáncer ha traído a la vida de Wendy, su espíritu permanece inquebrantable. A través de cada visita al médico, cada tratamiento de quimioterapia, Wendy sigue encarnando fuerza, resiliencia y una positividad inquebrantable que inspira a todos los que la rodean. Con gracia y resiliencia, ella navega este difícil viaje, enseñándoles a todos el poder de mantener la esperanza y ser amable, sin importar las circunstancias.

 

El camino por delante no será fácil. Pero con nuestra ayuda colectiva, podemos aliviar algunas de las cargas financieras que vienen con los tratamientos, las visitas al hospital y los desafíos diarios de esta lucha.
