Vicki Graff, a vibrant and beloved member of our Bayfield community has recently received a devastating cancer diagnosis.

Vicki has been undergoing weeks of chemotherapy and radiation treatments for cancer in her throat and neck area. As you know, she is the owner of her own business, Hair By The Bay, in downtown Bayfield. Vicki has been trying to work as much as possible throughout her medical treatment, but has reached the point where she is unable to continue working. She is experiencing many difficult side effects now and needs to rest and conserve her energy.

As a small business owner, when Vicki is not able to work, she also loses the opportunity to generate income to support herself and pay her regular household bills.

Those of you who know Vicki, also know that she is a strong and independent woman. Asking for help does not come easily to her, as she is usually the one who reaches out to assist others. Now it is our turn to pay back her many acts of kindness, generosity and love because she is not able to make this challenging journey of healing on her own.

We are raising funds to help ease the burdens on Vicki’s path to recovery, in order to create the space for her to heal fully. She needs to focus all of her strength, courage and energy now on healing, without worrying about financial matters and how to pay the bills. Your donations will help to cover her unpaid time away from her business, her ongoing medical care not covered by insurance and the additional travel expenses that will be required for treatment.
