My name is Dave, and I am a United States Marine Veteran. I served in Tokyo, Okinawa, and was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC.
In January of 2025, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Today I go into a 7-10 hour surgery to have my bladder, prostate, and a few lymph nodes removed. I am scared as hell. My new life will consist of a stoma for my body to release waste. I will be unable to return to any sense of normal life for many months.
My wife, Debbie, who has lived with MS for the past 25 years, will be my caregiver and the sole financial provider for our home.
I humbly ask for your prayers for me and my wife. The road ahead is going to be extremely difficult. If you are able to gift any amount to reduce the financial stress, we would be so grateful. Life has thrown us some huge curve balls, but we are strong!! Thank you so much for your support. God bless!!!
Dave is currently in ICU after an eight hour operation. The doctor said it went as expected. He will monitor Dave closely for the next few days as he wakes up and starts recovery. Continue praying . Thank you so much.
