Stand by Val Leonard in His Cancer Battle

Hello my name is Amber Leonard, I am making this donation page along with my sister Maranda Leonard. We are trying to raise money for our father Val Leonard, recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer that has traveled to his liver and hip bone, possibly may be going to his brain.

He is unable to work due to pain, weakness, and nausea. His liver is the size of TWO healthy livers and he is struggling with a lot of pain and discomfort. He starts his 2 chemo and immunotherapy treatments this Friday, so we’re hoping for some positive effects after he starts. My dad is a fighter, I know we will not be able to cure this but we can put up a good fight to get as much time with him as we can! Seeing him like this is heart breaking.

He has worked at the VA medical center in Coatesville for about 37 years. He has put in for disability retirement but until that is approved, bills are piling up and he has no money to pay them.
