Hi friends,

A Burning Man momma needs our help. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help on behalf of my amazing mom. She recently had a serious accident that left her in urgent need of a hip replacement. The injury was sudden and severe—and while we’re incredibly grateful she was able to get emergency surgery, the physical and financial toll has been overwhelming.

Anyone who knows my mom knows how full of life she is. She’s a free spirit who has always found joy in the little things—gardening in her backyard, baking for friends and family, and dancing under the stars at Burning Man. This accident has taken away her mobility and independence, and the road to recovery will be long, both physically and emotionally.

I am traveling as fast as I can back to Reno to be there for her 24/7 & my brother Joe is working tirelessly to ready things for her transition home hopefully in the coming weeks. We’re doing everything we can to support her, but the medical expenses—from surgery to rehabilitation—are more than we can manage on our own. That’s why we’re asking for help.
