Today, I was given the news that this pain in my chest required immediate surgery (quadruple heart bypass). I'll be down for 3-6 months. Without work, bills will be impossible. The automatic short and long-term disability was not automatic anymore after 12/31/2023. Who knew they would fail after 6 years there? But they did.

I'm reaching out because I've been a rock in a hard place... now I'm asking...
