Stand By Us: Facing Heart and Financial Trials

Hey everyone, this is not something my family ever does. We don’t like to ask for help, especially donations, unless we have no other option.

My dad got diagnosed with CHF (congestive heart failure) April 24th 2025, a week after I was in a pretty bad car accident. He is no longer allowed to work (truck driver) and has been trying to get put on SSI but he hasn’t been approved for it yet. My mom has not been allowed to work since 2009 due to a multiple operation she had to have. She has continuously been denied for disability and SSI as well.

We are asking for help to get mortgage and monthly bills caught up that have fallen severely behind due to this very difficult time.

I have been paying as much as I possibly can to try to keep things caught up, however; being a single mom of 4 children while having my own bills and things I have to pay for it hasn’t been helping as much as I would have hoped.

We are reaching out for help, to keep my parents house, vehicle, food, medications (over 30 medications between my parents) and to keep my dad’s stress to a minimum because his heart just can’t take anymore stress than he is already dealing with.

He is a great man who helped anyone who ever asked for it or he just helped willingly. He has 11 grandchildren and his own children he is doing his best to stay strong for. Taking some stress away from him would help tremendously to reduce the effect it is having on his heart.
