Stand by Tony in his Fight Against Aggressive Cancer
Donation protected
Many of you know my Godfather and Uncle, Tony, as a selfless and giving man. Tony dedicated over 23 years to the Albany Fire Department, where he served as a Lieutenant of the rescue squad. His commitment to public safety extended beyond his official duties; he was a member of the New York State Urban Search and Rescue Team (NY Task Force 2), a K9 manager training dogs with the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation, and a New York State fire instructor. Even in his spare time, Tony's passion for service continued as a volunteer with the North Bethlehem Fire Department.
Today, Tony and his wife, Laura, reside in Tennessee, far from the family and friends who have been a vital part of their lives. Tragically, Tony was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. In mid-June, he underwent surgery to remove a tumor from his brain. However, just six weeks later, doctors discovered that another tumor had grown in the same spot, this time four times the size of the original. Tony has since undergone a second brain surgery and is now in the midst of intensive chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Tony is now home, but due to severe complications, he requires round-the-clock care provided by Laura. With both Tony and Laura unable to work, their focus is entirely on his health. We are asking for your support to help alleviate the financial burden they are facing. All funds raised will go directly to Tony and Laura to assist with medical bills and daily living expenses, allowing them to concentrate on what truly matters—Tony's recovery.
Tony has always been there for others in their time of need. Now, it’s our turn to stand by him. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign with your networks. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
