Hello everyone, it is with a heavy heart that I am having to create this fundraiser on behalf of my best friend Toian. A wonderful 42 year old mother of 4 amazing kids, with her youngest only being 5 months old, who at her very young age was recently diagnosed with hypertonia (a condition that leads to stiffness and difficulty in movement, often resulting from damage to the central nervous system).

On August 19th 2025, I went to home of my best friend that was getting over the flu. Once I arrived, I discovered that she had labored breathing, which caused to call the ambulance. Once she arrived to the hospital she was barely hanging on. The next day, we found out that she was diagnosed with kidney failure and sepsis which had put her in the ICU. This unexpected medical emergency has turned her families life upside down and created an overwhelming financial burden on them. Toi has always been a pillar of strength and kindness and has dedicated the last 23 years being an educator and now she needs our help.

Due to the fact that she will be out of work and on a long road to recovery , the hospital bills, medication cost, and daily living expenses are going to add up fast. Because of her inability to work and care for her children fully at this time every little bit helps. Your donation will go directly toward medical expenses ,childcare and providing stability for her 3 children (ages 20, 16,9, 5 months) during this difficult period.
