In Mid December Tiger was the victim of a major wreck. His friends have convinced him to start a Gofund me for medical, legal and missed gig expenses. Rather than blathering my extreme adoration for Tiger, write yours here with your pledge. Here are a few words from Kevin Russell who, like me, has had the great fortune to play alongside Tiger.  

"I’ve been grateful to have Tiger Anaya by my side through what has been my third career iteration. Before meeting the Tijuana Train Wreck Horns, I was searching for an identity for Shinyribs. My collaboration with them has been life-changing and career-defining. The TTWH have been a grounding presence through thick and thin. I’ll forever be grateful to Tiger for his passion, honesty, and soul. He’s my friend and yours, one of the best men I’ve ever collaborated with. As I move forward without him and Mark Wilson, I’ll cherish our memories. Though this isn’t a forever goodbye, it marks the end of an era that began with Okra Candy and continues until today. Any band leader knows you can’t replace people you’ve worked closely with. We’ll have other horn players, but there will never be another like the Tijuana Train Wreck Horns. They’re a special brass gravy on them delicious Shinyribs. Please help our brother through this difficult time. With our love and generosity, he’ll shine again."
