Tayler and Jordan have had a long, complicated journey to become parents. Their journey has been filled with stress, loss, happiness, heartbreak, and the excitement finding out they were expecting a baby in September of 2025. Tayler had the typical first trimester, filled with nausea and fatigue, but to her, she did not mind because her dreams of becoming a mom outweighed the woes of early pregnancy. At her anatomy scan, she found out that she had a shortened cervix which could put her at risk of early labor and returned 2 weeks later for a recheck. At her recheck, Tayler was unexpectedly admitted because her cervix had shortened to paper thin. Tayler has been admitted for a month now, staring at the 4 same walls in Labor and Delivery. While most women on that floor are excited to be there to go into labor, Tayler is quite literally hoping and praying for the opposite, to hold off labor and let their sweet baby girl grow as strong as she can! Jordan has been spending many nights at the hospital as Tayler’s support system.

To add another layer of stress to the situation, Tayler and Jordan are also in the midst of moving into their new beautiful home.
