Hello, my name is Taufaoa.
I was born in Utulei, American Samoa, raised in the beautiful islands of Hawaii, and have called Atlanta home for many years. I proudly worked at the Atlanta airport for 20 years, Delta for 10 years, serving travelers from all over the world with a warm smile and a helping hand.
In March 2025, I was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer. I’m 59 years old, a proud mother of three sons, grandmother to eight wonderful grandchildren, and wife to a loving husband.
Right now, I’m facing one of the hardest battles of my life. I urgently need help to move forward with the next stage of my treatment—receiving more infusions and working with the right doctors to give me the best chance at recovery.
I know many of you don’t know me personally, but I’m asking from the bottom of my heart—please consider helping in any way you can. Every act of kindness, no matter the size, will help me get closer to the care I need for my transplant and ongoing recovery procedures.
Because of my illness, I can’t work at the moment, though I wish I could. Without help, I’m at risk of losing everything I worked for. Your compassion and generosity could be the reason I get to keep fighting.
From my family to yours—thank you for any support you can give, whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer. God bless you, and please know I am deeply grateful for every effort made on my behalf.
With love and hope,
Taufaoa and Family.
