Stand by Tammy in her fight against Leukemia
Donation protected
We are sharing this GoFundMe page to help two of the kindest people we know, Tammy and Keven Welch. Our aunt Tammy and uncle Kevin have been struggling with health issues for over a year now.
Last January, aunt Tammy was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. Since then, she has underwent several procedures and chemotherapy treatments to help fight this terrible disease. She was just released from James Cancer Center and has been sent home to get some strength back and to spend time with her friends and family (especially her sweet grandbabies!). She has been in and out of the hospital several times over the past year, so she is so happy to be home with her family. Unfortunately, her insurance will not cover Home Health care and she has extremely high deductibles that this money will go towards. Uncle Kevin is battling his own serious health issues. Even though he is doing his best and with all of the unconditional love and support he has for her, he is unable to be her caregiver.
For those of you who know Kevin and Tammy, you know how truly special they are. For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of knowing them, you are missing out. I have personally seen how they helped people who were struggling. They have the kindest hearts and love deeply. It doesn’t matter if you are a friend or part of their family, they would be the first to ask if there was anything they could do. Aunt Tammy worked at SandHill Childcare for almost 20 years and made such an impact on so many young lives. After she retired from there, she then went on to help my Uncle Kevin run his insurance business, which he built from the ground up. They have always been active in their community and have touched many lives.
Any help you can offer to get them through this difficult time would be greatly appreciated. We understand times are hard, so only give if you can. Please share this page and let’s try to help two very special people. Thank you for taking the time to read this and share their story.
