My name is Connie Lawton. I am starting a GoFundMe for my sweet friend Sue Blackwell. Sue has been fighting multiple myeloma for over 2 years. She has had multiple rounds of chemo and radiation. She had a stem cell transplant as well. Joel, Sue’s husband, has to take work off extensively to drive Sue to Atlanta. Sue has been entered into a clinical trial. This is the biggest fight of her life! The medical expenses, hotel expenses, and travel along with food are causing hardship for this amazing family. Sue and Joel have 3 wonderful, supportive children and a new beautiful grandbaby, Ellie.

Sue and Joel travel several times a month to Atlanta, GA from Alabama. It’s a 5-hour trip, and they have to stay in hotels. The financial burden is becoming increasingly difficult. On top of all the medical expenses and travel, they still have all of their normal expenses.

Please help this incredible family. This will allow Sue to fight this horrible disease without having to worry about money. All money raised goes to Sue and Joel.
