We are heartbroken to share that our dear friend and community leader, Steve Janji, is facing the toughest battle of his life: stage two colon cancer. A passionate entrepreneur, dedicated volunteer at the Houston Rodeo since 2005, and someone who has always put others first—Steve now needs our support.

Over the years, Steve has built multiple successful businesses through hard work, grit, and integrity. But beyond his career, he’s always been the first to lend a helping hand. Whether he was mentoring young professionals, sponsoring community events, or volunteering countless hours at the Houston Rodeo, his love for his city and its people has been unmatched.

Just last year, Steve endured the devastating loss of his sister after complications with a back surgery—a loss that hit especially hard, as he was by her side every step of the way, personally helping fund her treatments and care. That emotional and financial toll was enormous, but he never wavered. He fought for her with the same strength and compassion he brings to every aspect of his life.

Now, Steve is the one fighting. With his condition progressing and the physical toll of treatment increasing, he is no longer able to fully manage his businesses. Medical expenses are mounting, and the loss of income has placed an unbearable strain on him and his family.

We’re raising funds to help cover the cost of his treatments, provide comfort in his remaining time, and support the transition of his businesses—his life’s work—so that his legacy and the community he’s built can continue on.
