Hello, my name is Jenny, Stefanie’s daughter and I am creating this post for her. Over the past year, my incredible mom has been through more than anyone should ever have to endure. She’s now had 13 surgeries — each one critical, painful, and life-altering. Earlier this year, she had her entire colon and appendix removed, and we hoped the worst was finally behind us.

But just this past Friday, she was rushed to the hospital again. She had become septic, lost nearly all of her blood, and had to undergo yet another emergency surgery to save her life.

She hasn’t been able to work at all for the past year, and now she faces a permanent, life-changing condition: she will have a giant open wound in her stomach for the rest of her life, requiring a wound vac and continuous care.

Despite everything, my mom is still fighting — but she can’t do it alone. The financial toll of constant medical care, hospital stays, travel, and basic living costs has become overwhelming.
