Help Support Silas and His Family During Leukemia Treatment

Silas is a bright, creative, and kind-hearted kid from Michigan who was recently diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Since the diagnosis, Silas' world (and his mom Shelby’s world) has changed overnight.

He’s now undergoing intensive chemotherapy, with frequent hospital stays and clinic visits that have completely upended their routine. Shelby has had to take months off work to be by his side every day. This means lost income, mounting bills, and a need for support that’s hard to put into words.

Shelby hesitated to ask for help at first. Like a lot of us, she thought she could manage it on her own. But right now, financial support would make a huge difference. Covering gas to and from the hospital, groceries, rent, and daily living costs.

What's most important now for Shelby is caring for her son. That's why we're asking for help.

Who is Silas?

He is a 12-year-old boy who loves drawing, playing video games, and spinning vinyl records, especially Tyler, the Creator. Even in the hospital, he’s sketching, laughing, and staying true to the person he’s always been.
