My name is Michelle and I'm requesting assistance for my brother-in-law, Shane, and my sister, Lesa.

Shane is a proud Army veteran. He dedicated 8 years of his life to serving our country with honor and courage. He stood ready to protect our freedoms—now he’s facing a fight no one could have prepared him for: a mysterious and debilitating neurological condition with no clear diagnosis or treatment path.

Over the past 2 years, Shane has been battling severe neurological symptoms including severe tremors, leg & muscle pain, loss of mobility and some slurring of words. Despite countless medical appointments, tests, and specialist visits, the cause remains unknown, leaving he and Lesa (most who know her refer to her as "Mama") in a state of worry, frustration, and financial strain.

After Shane's military service, he worked as the General Manager of Wings & Rings in Bedford where he earned an award for Manager of the Year; however, due to his worsening condition, he became unable to continue working approximately a year ago.

Those of you that know Shane & Lesa know that they are giving, selfless people and will not ask for help; however, if you can and feel compelled to, please donate and make an impactful difference in their lives. Together, let’s show them that they are not alone in this fight.
