"We’ve been quiet around here lately. And it’s on purpose.

Tuesday night Sergio had a bicycle accident. He took a corner going 30 mph+, pedaled down and clipped the pavement launching him over his handlebars and flat onto his back. He broke the transverse process of L2,3,4.

I was quickly reminded that our life is a walking testimony. When things like this happen, most people run right to the fear of the unknown. But not this family. We ran right to the feet of Jesus and His church. We prayed faithfully and God answered.

He walked out of the hospital. While we still have a long road to recovery, this reminded us that prayer will always be our first response. God is faithful. He still does miracles. I pray our life is a reflection of Gods faithfulness." Meagan.

Support for Sergio — A Firefighter, Mentor, and Hero in Need

Sergio has always been the first to step up when others needed help.

As a dedicated firefighter and proud member of our community, he has spent countless hours serving, protecting, and inspiring those around him. Beyond his work on the front lines, Sergio has guided and mentored many young people, encouraging them to join the fire service and become part of something bigger than themselves. He has been a symbol of hope, strength, and compassion — someone everyone can count on.

Knowing how important physical fitness is to his demanding profession, Sergio has always trained hard and encouraged others to do the same. Unfortunately, a recent accident resulted in serious injuries to his spine, drastically changing his daily life and work capabilities.

Now, as he focuses on recovery, Sergio and his wife — are facing tremendous emotional and financial challenges.

Today, it’s our turn to stand by him.
