Hi, my name is Sara. I’m reaching out for support as I work to rebuild my life after a difficult divorce and financial setbacks.

For six years, I prioritized my then-husband’s career, often putting my own aspirations on hold. I spent four years in Arkansas, working in fast food and landscaping to improve my circumstances. When we moved to Ohio for his new job, I hoped to continue my education using a spousal tuition waiver. However, access to this waiver became uncertain, and I was unable to complete my degree.

Despite these challenges, I found stable work as a commercial landscaper and began to establish myself again. In October 2024, I had the opportunity to assist with hurricane recovery in Florida. However, when I returned to Ohio in November, my husband had moved out and filed for divorce. This abrupt transition, combined with pre-existing C-PTSD, led to a series of difficult circumstances, including the temporary suspension of my driver’s license, which has made it much harder to regain stability.

Since then, I’ve relocated to my hometown and have been working to rebuild with limited resources. Without transportation, securing consistent employment has been challenging, but I am set to regain my license in May and am eager to move forward.

I’m asking for assistance because, despite my hard work, I’m facing significant financial challenges that I cannot overcome alone. Those who know me understand how difficult it is for me to ask for help, but I truly need support to get back on my feet.
