Help Sara Care for Her Family After Both Her Parents Drowned

On May 27th, Sara's life changed forever. While vacationing in Florida, her parents were caught in a sudden rip current. Despite valiant rescue efforts, both her mom and dad tragically drowned.

Sara's 26-year-old brother was also caught in the current and was saved by a heroic bystander and survived. Due to a medical condition sustained at birth, he is severely mentally handicapped, and he requires a high level of care and attention to meet his lifelong needs, which his loving parents had previously provided for him.

At just 22, Sara is now the sole caregiver for her brother and her grandmother, both of whom lived with her parents. She's also responsible for managing the household, covering funeral expenses, and continuing her full-time college education—all while grieving an unimaginable loss.

Transporting Sara's parents' remains from Florida where they are currently held, to Georgia so that their loved ones may lay them to rest.

Covering funeral and memorial expenses for her beloved parents.

Providing daily care and medical support for her brother.
