The Background:
Many of you know Sandie, she's my little Sister  (me... being Deb Peery) and adored by so many.  She was diagnosed with ALS on 9/27/18.  I know how you feel right at this moment when you read my statement, CRUSHED and HEART BROKEN.

What is ALS?
ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.  She will lose the ability to walk or move, talk, swallow and over time, breathe.  Her team of Doctors have given her 3-5 years of her short remaining life.  We are praying for more time.  This next year is critical as she prepares for her remaining time.   WE NEED YOUR HELP!

About Sandie:
Besides being my wonderful Sister;  she is a beloved daughter, wife, cousin, niece, friend and co-worker.  Sandie's favorite flower is a sunflower.  I think that's appropriate because she is in fact like a sunflower.  She brings a ray of light, happiness and sunshine into everyone's lives.  She has a heart of gold and has given so much of herself, personally, financially  and professionally to those around her.  She's vibrant, loves a good adventure and will give you "her shirt off her back".  Many of you have been touched by her love and kindness.  Many of you have been impacted by her presence.  It's time to show her how much we adore her during her time of need.  BY THE WAY, if you know Sandie, she does NOT like asking for help.  It took some convincing for her to allow me the opportunity to campaign for her.

What you also know about Sandie.... is she lives life to its fullest!  This disease will not hold her back from her love of life!

How Can You Help?
Donate to help with the following:

Sandie will need medical equipment to accommodate her reduced mobility over time.  We are asking friends and family to donate to fund the following:

-  Motorized Wheel Chair
- Handicap Vehicle
- Handicap accessories for her home

If you can't help financially, please help with non-monetary support:

- Be supportive
- Keep in contact with Sandie - call, text, email, social media, visit if you can
- Advice - if you have a similar experience, share your experience with her.  Let her know she's not alone.
- PRAY - please pray for her strength as she battles this disease.  Pray for her family to give them strength to support her as she moves forward.

What's Next?
I will continue to update this website with her progress and adventures.  Unfortunately, she has limited time.  Time is of the essence for us to raise funds to help Sandie with her expenses.  Please share this link with your friends, family and especially those that know Sandie whom I can't reach.  Please let your friends and family know about your connection to Sandie.   On behalf of Sandie and her family, we sincerely appreciate any donation and your willingness to spread the word.
