Stand by Ryan and Jeri During This Challenge

We're reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to support Ryan, a devoted husband, father, and friend who has been through more than most could bear.

After bravely fighting and overcoming lymphoma just two years ago, Ryan was finally on the road to recovery and beginning to rebuild his life with his loving wife, Jeri, and their two young children, ages 5 and 2. But just as things were looking up, he was struck down again—this time by a series of serious abdominal complications that have required multiple major surgeries.

What’s made this journey even more difficult is the series of repeated setbacks Ryan has faced since these procedures. Each time he’s tried to take a step forward, new complications have forced him two steps back.

He is currently on disability and unable to work, and the mounting medical expenses combined with rising costs of everyday bills have become overwhelming. Jeri, a dedicated federal employee, has been doing everything she can to hold the family together. But with new return-to-office mandates, she may be forced to take leave without pay in order to care for Ryan and their children during this critical time.
