After 12 years in the US, marrying a US citizen, applying for his citizenship (in process), working his tail off to support his growing family (Baby Camila expected in September), Ruben is being detained in a TX ICE facility and being deported. Everyone who knows him understands what a joyful and kind person he is.

We are raising funds to assist his wife, Rita, in meeting their monthly bills during this time of extreme crisis and distress. If we can take that burden off her shoulders, it would be a fantastic show of love, compassion, and community.
