Stand by Rocco’s Side in His Time of Need

Hi, my name is Katherine and I’m asking for help for my sweet dog who is battling a serious heart condition. His heart became dangerously inflamed, likely due to infection or genetics. Recently, he had to undergo an emergency pericardiocentesis to remove fluid building up around his heart. That procedure saved his life, but we’ve been told the fluid might come back and that he’ll need close monitoring and possibly more treatments.

Despite everything, he still tries to greet us at the door and gives us gentle tail wags. He’s been so strong and calm through it all. Watching him fight so hard while not being able to do more has been heartbreaking.

The vet bills, medications, and continued care are very expensive, and we are doing everything we can to keep up — but we can’t do it alone. Your donation, no matter how small, will help us give him more time, more comfort, and more love.

Hola, mi nombre es Katherine y estoy pidiendo ayuda para mi perrito que está luchando contra una enfermedad del corazón muy grave. Su corazón se inflamó mucho, probablemente por una infección o algo genético. Hace poco tuvo que someterse a una pericardiocentesis de emergencia para quitar el líquido que se acumulaba alrededor de su corazón. Ese procedimiento le salvó la vida, pero nos dijeron que el líquido puede regresar y que necesitará más cuidados y posiblemente otro tratamiento.

A pesar de todo, él todavía trata de saludarnos en la puerta y nos mueve la colita. Ha sido tan fuerte y tranquilo en medio de todo esto. Verlo luchar tanto sin poder hacer más ha sido muy doloroso.
