Losing Palma’s brother Pete. After 40+ years of the hard work Palma and I put into running our beloved family business, “Palma Maria Restaurant,” the sudden shutdown of said business left us in a pretty tough spot financially. We had been supporting ourselves by any means possible, like social security, but we were also caring for Palma’s sister Ana Rosinola until her recent passing.

I know life is tough for so many people out there, but we are in need of some help as we are behind a few years on property taxes and in danger of possibly losing our home if we cannot pay them. I’m asking for the help of our friends and beloved community at this time of need to help us get back on our feet. I’ve suffered some recent health problems as well and must have a procedure done soon to help with my recent diagnosis of AFIB.
