Stand by Robbin: Stroke Recovery Support

As most of you know, Robbin had a stroke on May 29, 2025. It hit in the cerebellum, which has caused issues with her balance and fine motor skills, as well as her processing skills. She is a social worker and must use a computer for patient notes and processing her clients' state of mind and emotions. She will be in rehab for 2-3 weeks.

Fortunately, she has short-term disability, which will take a few weeks to pay. It pays 66% of her normal salary. While we are incredibly grateful for this, between now and then, our bills still need to be paid. Our pride is big, and we are better givers than receivers. Asking for help is humbling. This stroke was, of course, not something we expected. We are strong and resilient and will conquer this mountain.
