Renee is the kind of person who shows up for others — whether behind the wheel as an Uber driver or offering words of encouragement to friends and strangers alike. She has already shown extraordinary strength by beating cancer. But now, life has thrown her another unimaginable challenge: Renee recently suffered a stroke.

This happened just as a new chapter was about to begin for her — she had a job lined up that was set to start in a week. In the meantime, she was working full-time driving Uber to stay afloat. Now, because of her stroke, she’s unable to drive or start her new job, leaving her without income at the worst possible moment.

Renee is facing not only the physical and emotional toll of recovery, but also the stress of mounting bills and uncertainty about her future. As anyone who knows her can tell you, she is a beacon of strength and kindness — and right now, she needs our help.
