Hello Friends and Neighbors,

Our dear friend Randy Brown could use a bit of support. Saturday, July 5th, his garage/workshop caught fire and burned to the ground here in North Haven. It's believed to have been an electrical fire. His house also sustained damage caused by smoke, heat, and water, which is covered by insurance. While his homeowners' insurance does include coverage for the garage, the insurance purse-string-holders have declared that it will not cover damages to the garage because it was used "commercially" rather than domestically. Randy had all his tools for his construction business and his paint, buoys, and lobstering equipment stored in there, as you or I would....

When Randy had a significant illness a few years ago, you all were so generous, and we were able to offer him meaningful financial support. We hope you will once again lend a helping hand to this friend in need.

Brown's Boatyard, as a company and as his lifelong friends, will be facilitating this fundraising for him to rebuild his garage, restock his tools so he can continue his construction business, and so he can get back to his love of lobstering. Any donation amount will help!
