The Lydia Ladies DWF group of Central Christian Church (DOC) in Marshalltown, Iowa, are raising funds to help our member and friend Peggy Lilly White (who drives a school bus for East Marshall, IA schools) with medical and household expenses, which she will incur due to her ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) breast cancer diagnosis, which can quickly turn into an extremely aggressive breast cancer. Unfortunately, she does not have cancer insurance, nor any other supplemental insurance, such as short-term or long-term disability.

She was just diagnosed on Thursday, July 10, and her surgery will be performed Monday, July 21. It is urgent that she have this procedure performed as soon as possible because this type of cancer could quickly become very aggressive. She is expected to be off work for approximately two months.
