In life, we’re often reminded just how fragile things can be. Recently, my cousin— a beloved son, sibling, husband, and father to two beautiful young girls— was rushed to the hospital and is now in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition with heart & kidney failure. The days since have been overwhelming and uncertain, filled with worry, prayers, and hope.

Due to the sensitive nature of their condition and out of respect for the family’s privacy, we’re keeping details limited. What we can say is this: the situation is serious, and the road ahead is expected to be long, both medically and emotionally. This is a close-knit, hardworking family who has always been there for others — the kind who show up without question, who give without expecting anything in return.

Now, they need us.
