On Sunday, February 23rd, my husband was struck by a car while on his motorcycle. In that split second, our lives could have been forever changed. A woman in the median, attempting to make a left turn, collided with him after missing the small gap she intended to speed through. Thankfully, there happened to be an MPD officer at the car wash who immediately ran into the road and dragged Nick to safety. He was taken by ambulance very quickly to St. Thomas Hospital, where he remained in a Trauma Room. He has suffered broken bones, muscle injuries, sprains, countless cuts, road rash, bruises, and massive swelling throughout his body. But we are so very thankful he is still here with us!

As we face the coming months, so many things are still uncertain, and we know we have a long road ahead of us. As the primary income provider, our family needs help to stay afloat with that loss. We have already incurred thousands of dollars in medical bills, and plenty more to come with total loss of work time so up in the air, but at least several weeks. We are in a time of great need from our family, friends, and community to help us survive this financial burden. We have already received so much love in time helping us, or caring for our daughter that we are eternally grateful for.
