Stand By Lori: Cancer and Surgery Struggles

My mom is a very proud and private person and doing this takes a lot of courage. My mom was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer a year and a half ago that affects the soft tissues in the body, this is ongoing and she is still dealing with this. This past September, her back had given out on her. After several appointments, procedures and diagnostics it has come down to her needing surgery on several places in her lower spine. She was medically forced to quit her job and cannot work right now. We are a tight knit family and several of us have been helping out as much as we can. She is now in danger of losing her home and vehicle. We are hoping our friends, other family members, neighbors and our community can help us get her back on track so she can have this surgery and recover knowing she will still have her home and vehicle to go back to.
