Stand by Mojgan: Overcoming Stroke Challenges

As many of you may have heard, our lovely local pizza shop owner at Amore Pizza, Mojgan, had a massive stroke on May 10th. Then she was in a coma for over a month at Holy Family in Methuen, MA. While she is not out of the woods yet, her family, friends and her doctors are optimistic. Your love, concern, prayers, and overall well wishes of swift healing have been heard and felt. She is finally out of a coma and has made many positive strides since. Every small sign of progress is encouraging. Mojgan is currently at a great rehabilitation hospital in Salem, NH, being treated by an excellent medical team. Due to the severity of her stroke, it will be a long journey to hopefully speak normally, see clearly, and move the right side of her body again, as these functions are all controlled by the left side of the brain. But, Mojgan is already working hard and fighting to gain as much of that back as soon as possible. During this time, as many of us know, Amore Pizza has been CLOSED for over 40+ days while her loving husband and business partner, Syrus, is by her side! Not only will the stress of medical bills be a huge burden on Mojgan and Syrus, their only income supply is when Amore Pizza is OPEN. Every contribution, no matter the size, will be appreciated by the family and go toward medical bills and restaurant expenses!
