Stand by Mike: Facing Cancer and Change

For years, my brother, Mike Delehanty, has worked as a mason perfecting his craft. He worked through his diagnosis of congestive heart failure and COPD, earning a living with his hands and his skill. Unfortunately, he was recently diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer, putting an end to his ability to continue in that line of work.

Faced with the challenges of battling cancer, keeping up with expenses while simultaneously trying to find a new line of work has been stressful, to say the least. His doctor believes that with treatment, Mike will get stronger and hopefully be able to transition into a new field of work, but that will take time and bills don’t wait.
